President's Welcome Professor George Acquah-Mensah
The Convention of BioMedical Research, Ghana (CoBREG) was previously known as the Ghana Biomedical Convention. It is a culmination of efforts dating back to the summer of 2007 at pooling together research and related efforts of scientists in Ghana and beyond towards local development and capacity building. Around the world, many of our compatriots are engaged in the search for answers to the many biomedical challenges confronting humanity. Several work at the very cutting-edge. Over the years, scores of scientists and trainees have benefited from the activities of CoBREG, including its annual Ghana BioMed Conference.
To provide a platform for CoGReG student members to interact with mentors on a variety of topics, CoBReG now has an online workspace on the Slack platform. It is open to all student members and all professional members can be mentors.
The student division of CoBReG organizes a number of skill building events and workshops throughout the year. Miss Afolayan Oluwatomisin was elected as the student representative of the CoBReG executive board this year.
