COBREG 2020: Cancelled Info
InstructionsPosted: 20 February, 2019
NB: Full payment of the conference fee must be made by 15 June 2020 in order to retain one’s place in the program. Instructions will be provided to authors on how to make payment, several options will be available, including Mobile Money from any network.
Abstracts are accepted in any field of biomedical science, bioengineering, clinical science, public health, epidemiology, health policy and education, nutrition, food science and dietetics, etc. If your work impacts public health in Ghana in any way, you are most welcome to submit an abstract.
When you submit your first abstract, you will also simultaneously register for the conference. You may, of course, register without submission of an abstract or submit multiple abstracts.
PLEASE FOLLOW CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BELOW. ABSTRACTS THAT ARE INCORRECTLY FORMATTED WILL BE RETURNED TO THEIR AUTHORS FOR CORRECTIONS.
Please keep your abstract text to 300 words or less, excluding authors and title. The format COBREG uses is the single paragraph format, NOT the style with Background, Methods, Results, etc. under different sections. Kindly upload abstracts in .doc or .docx File format (MS word). Do NOT submit in PDF format.
Please click below on the sample abstract to see what format you should follow. To make things easier for you, we have an abstract template, as well, that already has the correct formatting indicated. Please feel free to use the template to ensure that your abstract is formatted properly.

Many abstracts could fall into more than one category, so please select the one you prefer. The scientific committee reserves the right to shift abstracts from the authors’ preference to another section in order to balance the programme.
You will also select whether you want your abstract to be considered for a Talk Only, Poster Only, or Either a Talk or Poster. Please be aware that selecting Talk Only is the most competitive choice and your abstract might be rejected.
Regular abstract submission closes on May 31, 2020, at midnight. Late abstract submission closes on June 14, 2020, and such abstracts will only be considered for poster presentation. Abstracts submitted AFTER the regular deadline in the LATE period may not be included in the conference booklet.
All abstracts must be submitted through the web site. NO ABSTRACTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE LATE ABSTRACT DEADLINE.
If you have multiple abstracts to submit, feel free to either re-register or upload multiple abstracts in one file.
